Join us in this study of Jeff Anderson’s Patterns of Power: Inviting Young Writers into the Conventions of Language, Grades 1-5 (please bring a copy, if possible). Discover how implementing his process of planning, instruction, and application will allow your students to move beyond error correction and use their grammar knowledge to make meaning in their writing.
We will explore this process and take time to do some meaningful discussion and planning around the integration of oral and written conventions in our reading and writing workshops.
