This is a great opportunity for all teachers to learn about strategies and activities for teaching all kids to be thinkers, not just gifted students. In addition to looking at the needs of gifted students, we will look at brain compatible classrooms, differentiation, interdisciplinary thematic instruction, the icons of Depth & Complexity, and questioning strategies that benefit all students. And we'll have some fun while doing it! Teachers will benefit from reading Making All Kids Smarter Strategies That Help All Students Reach Their Highest Potential by John DeLandtsheer prior to the class, but they can still attend if they haven't had a chance to finish the book.
