This session will empower teachers with the knowledge and guidance they need to create the rich and rigorous learning environment all students deserve. We will be introducing input and output strategies to facilitate students' understanding of science concepts.
6A,C,E (Genetics) Second semester is already here and we are rushing to get through the Genetics unit. It's a race to get the content finished; so, we can start the STAAR Review soon. Let's get a head start with this session where we will look at breakouts for the newly stream-lined Genetics TEKS, analyze the data for each breakout, and design specific lessons and strategies (i.e. questioning) to engage students and assess each breakout.
