What? I have students who use iRead? iRead is a phonics program provided by the district for struggling second grade readers. This session includes a deep dive of tools and strategies in iRead to use with small groups of students as well as intervening with students using the online program. Participants need to bring headsets or earbuds.

Understanding Career Prep (VAC) and 18+ Programs

Designed for High School ARD Fac., LSSPs and Dept. Chairs, attendees will gain insight into the SPED Career Prep classes and who should be recommended for them. They will also gain an understanding of the three 18+ programs and what they entail and which students could benefit from each. Upon completion of the course, attendees will be able to answer questions that students, teachers and parents have about these courses and programs during transition planning and at annual ARDs.
